There are so many beautiful books from my favorite makers coming out recently. They look like the kinds of books that you will go back to again and again for inspiration, heirlooms even. Here are four that I would love to get my hands on.
1. Lena Corwin’s Made By Hand– 26 projects from well known relevant makers with step by step instructions for you to print, sew, weave, dye, knit, or otherwise create.
2. The Kinfolk Table– Simple and beautiful recipes for small gatherings from artisans, bloggers, chefs, writers, bakers, crafters. I can’t get over the images in this book. I would love to see the world the way photographers of the book Parker Fitzgerald & Leo Patrone do.
4. Tie-Dye by Shabd Simon Alexander- This book contains a history of the craft and techniques that make tie dye look so sophisticated. I’m so thankful for artisans who are willing to share their skills.
